Analysis Configuration

Start with provinces to focus the dataset; this controls which regions and ridings appear. “Select All” reverts to Canada-wide.
Regions are predefined clusters within the selected province(s). Select any to auto-include their ridings; leave empty to keep all in-scope ridings.
Select a province to view regions
Search or multi-select specific ridings to include. If nothing is selected, all ridings from your province/region filters stay in the analysis.

X-Axis: Electoral Feature

Pick an electoral category (e.g., party results, turnout) and a specific feature to plot on the X-axis. This is always an electoral metric.

Y-Axis: Census Demographic

Search or browse census characteristics to plot on the Y-axis. Use search for quick keyword matches; browse to drill into the hierarchy.

Census Filters (Optional)

Filter polls by census characteristic values. Select a category, then search for a characteristic.

Add numeric filters to restrict which polls/ridings are included (e.g., Median income > 40000). Filters stack; remove tags to broaden the dataset.
